I have been suffering from Tinnitus for about 3 weeks now. I have tried natural remedies on both ears however; I have only achieved success with one ear and may have to visit a doctor soon for the other.
I thought that you all may benefit from these natural means of clearing excess wax prior to visiting a doctor. I personally do not recommend ear candling this being said, it is also your option to try whatever methods you see fit!
I would love to hear about any successes you all have had or any other alternative natural therapies you are aware of.
Follow these instructions for a safe and effective ear wax removal. Ear wax is produced by glands in the ear canal and it’s job is to clean, moisten and protect the canal. Usually, ear wax is produced in small quantities and emerges naturally from the ear. If wax is produced in larger than normal quantities, it may cause a blockage with feeling of blockage, itchiness and sometimes hearing loss.
The ear canal is a self-cleansing organ, under normal circumstances it needs no special attention. If you have a need for cleaning the ear canal regularly, use a sea water ear-spray daily. NEVER use a cotton bud, hair grip or finger to remove wax from your ear. This compacts the wax, making it hard.
Ear wax dissolving with PARAFFIN OIL (or other mineral oil) in combination with warm water irrigation
1. Obtain paraffin oil (or other mineral oil) at any drugstore.
2. Warm about 2-3 tablespoons a little above body temperature.
3. Fill an eye dropper with the warm oil.
4. Lie on your side, with the ear to be de-waxed up.
5. Drop a few drops of warm oil into the ear.
6. Lie still for 5 minutes.
7. Empty oil into the sink.
Over the next two to three days this could completely resolve (and dissolve) your ear wax issue. To ensure that all excess wax is flushed out:
1. Warm water just above body temperature.
2. Flush your ear with warm water, to bring out wax.
You may rinse the ear canal with a diluted apple cider vinegar solution in order to replace natural pH.
To your health!
